Delete your Sports With Strangers account

Sports With Strangers lets you permanently delete your account from inside the mobile app. Follow the steps below to remove your profile and personal data in line with Google Play requirements.

Before you start

  • Cancel any active SWS subscription through the App Store or Google Play to stop future billing. The app will remind premium members before deletion continues.
  • Make sure you are not hosting any upcoming or active games. The deletion service blocks the request until those games are cancelled or handed to another admin.
  • Have your password ready. The app re-verifies your identity immediately before it allows you to delete the account.

Delete your account inside the SWS app

  1. Open the Sports With Strangers app, sign in, and switch to the Profile tab.
  2. Tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top-right corner of your profile header and choose Account.
  3. In Account Settings, select Delete Account, enter your password, and tap the red Delete Account button.
  4. Review the warning message and confirm. The app re-authenticates you, calls our secure delete-user-account service, and signs you out once the deletion finishes.

If the app reports you still have active games or subscriptions, resolve those items and then repeat the steps above.
