Terms for using Sports With Strangers

By accessing and using Sports with Strangers ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

• Real-time messaging with accepted teammates
• Profile management and sports skill tracking
• Location-based game discovery

3. User Responsibilities

• Account Security: Maintain confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Accurate Information: Provide and update accurate profile details.
• Respectful Conduct: Treat others with respect. Harassment or discriminatory behavior is prohibited.
• Safety First: You participate in sports activities at your own risk.

4. Player Attendance and No-Show Policy

⚠ No-Show Disclaimer: Sports with Strangers facilitates connections but cannot guarantee player attendance.

• No Attendance Guarantee: Players may choose not to attend despite commitments.
• No Liability for No-Shows: We are not responsible for missed games, delays, or related expenses.
• User Responsibility: Confirm attendance directly with players and have backup plans.
• No Mediation: Attendance disputes must be resolved between players.

5. Booking Payments and Financial Arrangements

Sports with Strangers supports court bookings that may require payment. The app displays the payable total, including applicable fees and taxes, before checkout and opens a payment provider's checkout to complete payment. Depending on the booking, direct or split payment options may be available. Financial arrangements made directly between players outside the court-booking payment flow remain between those users.

• Booking Payments: For questions about an in-app court booking payment or refund, contact us through the in-app support channels.
• Off-Platform Payments: We are not responsible for disputes, non-payment, or fraud arising from financial arrangements made directly between users outside the court-booking payment flow.
• User Responsibility: Use secure methods and good judgment when sharing costs directly with other users.
• No Mediation: We do not mediate financial disagreements between users about off-platform arrangements.

6. Prohibited Activities & Content Policy

You agree not to use the service for unlawful purposes, impersonation, fraudulent postings, spam, or unauthorized commercial use.

Zero Tolerance: Hate speech, defamation, pornography, explicit content, or violence is prohibited. We may remove content and ban users without notice.

Reporting: Use in-app reporting to flag objectionable content. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours.

7. SWS Pro Subscription Terms

• On iOS, payment is charged to your Apple Account through the App Store at purchase confirmation. On Android, payment is charged through Google Play to the payment method associated with your Google Account.
• Subscriptions renew automatically according to the price and billing period shown at purchase unless canceled before the next renewal.
• Manage or cancel your subscription in App Store subscription settings on iOS or Google Play subscriptions on Android. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• If a free trial is offered, its terms are shown at purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial may be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable. If you started an Apple free trial and do not want it to renew, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service you consent to the practices described there.

9. Injury and Physical Activity Liability

10. General Limitation of Liability

Sports with Strangers and affiliates are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the service.

All content and features are owned by Sports with Strangers and protected by intellectual property laws. Do not reproduce or distribute without permission.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts at any time for violating these terms or engaging in harmful conduct.
